This is an exceptional hotel. Staff will do everything to make your stay welcome. We were totally relaxed from the minute we arrived and our bags were collected from the car and taken to our room. Upgrade to top suite, much appreciated. Impeccable, top notch service. Good car parking facilities. Convenient short cab ride into York city centre, also good for racecourse. - Everything. Stayed in the courtyard area and it was delighful. The room was fantastic. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Certainly will be going back there again.

category, I was treated as if I was a relative of the staff, I really
mean that. Being on my own, without overstepping the bounds of
professionalism, they went out of their way to be accommodating, It was
unfortunate that I needed a Doctor during my stay. This was arranged by
Sian with the care of a daughter. The restaurant manager of the Keep was

The staff were all friendly and helpul and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent as was the value for money. The leisure facilities were great too - we used the pool, jacuzzi and steam room on arrival after a 5 hour journey and it was a great way to unwind. - the bar and restaurant are excellent. the leisure club is superb. the rooms

Room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a one night stay over for a wedding.
both rooms next door to each other, that was great.
staff went out of their way to help us and make sure everything was ok.

Loved the spacious rooms, very friendly, helpful staff. The pool was large, clean and very luxurious. Food was great, and breakfast and dinner arrived without a long wait, and cooked beautifully. Couldn't ask for better service. Great to know that the car was safe in the no reservation, secure car park!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is set in an idylic, peaceful setting. The food was excellent and the use of the adjacent Leisure facility was a real bonus - Everything was exceptional, the food, room, staff and the leisure facilities were a bonus which we enjoyed too.

All the staff were excellent and welcoming. The entrance, bar and lounge have been recently renovated and look far better than 7 years ago when I last stayed here. The lift is ‘Quirky’ with a certain old fashioned charm. Redecoration has just started on the staircase (Nov 2013) and I am sure it will be better for the work. The location for shopping is excellent and the hotel has its own secure underground car park, although it is a short walk from the hotel. The food is the best in Scarborough.
