Upgrade to top suite, much appreciated. Impeccable, top notch service. Good car parking facilities. Convenient short cab ride into York city centre, also good for racecourse. - Everything. Stayed in the courtyard area and it was delighful. The room was fantastic. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Certainly will be going back there again.

professionalism, they went out of their way to be accommodating, It was
unfortunate that I needed a Doctor during my stay. This was arranged by

The staff were all friendly and helpul and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent as was the value for money. The leisure facilities were great too - we used the pool, jacuzzi and steam room on arrival after a 5 hour journey and it was a great way to unwind. - the bar and restaurant are excellent. the leisure club is superb. the rooms

The rooms were first class and slightly larger than is usual for a Hotel. The quality of the furnishing was first class. The food that we enjoyed in the evening was so good that we asked to see the Chef just to say thank you, I have never done that before, it really was that good. Loved the spacious rooms, very friendly, helpful staff. The pool was large, clean and very luxurious. Food was great, and breakfast and dinner arrived without a long wait, and cooked beautifully. Couldn't ask for better service. Great to know that the car was safe in the no reservation, secure car park!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is set in an idylic, peaceful setting. The food was excellent and the use of the adjacent Leisure facility was a real bonus - Everything was exceptional, the food, room, staff and the leisure facilities were a bonus which we enjoyed too.

The staff are amazingly friendly and really made us feel welcome. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and all round nice. It felt more like a family hotel than a chain hotel (and I mean that as a positive comment.)

All the staff were excellent and welcoming. The entrance, bar and lounge have been recently renovated and look far better than 7 years ago when I last stayed here. The lift is ‘Quirky’ with a certain old fashioned charm. Redecoration has just started on the staircase (Nov 2013) and I am sure it will be better for the work. The location for shopping is excellent and the hotel has its own secure underground car park, although it is a short walk from the hotel. The food is the best in Scarborough.
