The fact that my partner and i did not make it for breakfast after a rather late night an although check out time was stated at 10am, the staff left us till 12 ish ( much appreciated ) - Nice clean rooms, look as if they have recently been re decorated.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, especially Andrew. Room was very comfortable and spotless. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a varied choice for all palates and dietary requirements. Carol and Bob were the loveliest couple who were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They made us feel like welcome friends in a non-intrusive way. The town center is few minutes walk from the B&B where we had pleasant dinner. It was one of the best stays during our week sent traveling around Scotland. If you travel by car and visit Stirling castle, we recommend The Knowe Guest House to stay before or after.

Taking the advantage of a late deal this was excellent value for money, and with only a few guests staying in the hotel on the lead up to Christmas we were given a complementary up-grade...even better!
