  The Hotel was perfect. Located 10 minutes stroll to York Centre. Hotel itself was of a very high standard. Staff were very friendly. I would recommend eating in the restaurant. It was perfect. - All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Lovely modern feel to a traditional building. Food very good and we thought reasonably priced.   The room was just what we needed; cosy, warm, clean with lovely furnishing, plus little thoughtful touches like homemade cookies and local maps to ponder over. Tea and cake on arrival in a beautiful kitchen. Stove was on and a they have a lovely little dog to pat! The whole family made us feel so welcome and gave us a great pub recommendation, The... vad folk säger » Bolton Inn at Redmire. The Reeth circular walk was another great recommendation.
