  The room was very modern and very clean, also it was very central which made easy access to all the amenities.It is being reefurbished and the hotel will be excellent when it is completed, worth going back to. - The staff were very friendly and it had a good location near to the centre of town.   We Booked into the Glenesk hotel for just a few nights in February 2013 as I was viewing property in this lovely area, (which I luckily got) and reading the on-line reviews liked the look of it. This is actually a very hard review to write for me, I don't usually have that problem!! but will do my best as I enjoyed my stay so much it is hard to cr... vad folk säger » iticise it. The Staff are GREAT, I did not meet one member of staff who was not First Class, from reception, the bar and restaurant nothing was too mu - From the moment of arrival, the welcome was amazing, they bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable, well fed, and relaxed. Great staff, great feel, has to be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and due to business, I stay in a lot of hotels! They really did have the personal touch! The rooms are spacious, and tastefully decorated, and spotless!, The food was stunning, and the bar well stocked with a variety of good wines, real ales and of course whiskey. The setting is quiet, p

  Was a bit wary given the bad reviews, but this was a fantastic experience. Lovely old castle with modern facilities, friendly staff, peaceful location with large grounds, huge beds, superb breakfast, and the gym and pool facilities were top class.   Friendly welcome. Easy to find centrally located. Came as advertised. Helped us start our car with jump leads after we left the lights on. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Pleasant bar and restaurant! Huge breakfast!! They directed me to The Johnstone Mill where I had a fantastic, fascinating and free tour and great coffee.   arrived shortly after 2pm on the Friday, swiftly checked in by the friendly receptionist, we payed on arrival and were quickly given our key cards told of all the facilities within the hotel. The hotel was busy with christmas parties but we expected it to be and it didn't dampen our moods. Great location off union street and pubs and clubs all dow... vad folk säger » n the street. Even though it was busy with the windows and curtains closed we couldn't hear a thing and both slept great on the big comfy beds. Room a - The park inn is modern and very well done I.e décor and layout, being a smoker I liked the section of outdoors within the building which is a great idea saving you from standing out the front. Its in a good position for shopping etc. breakfast was inc and was of fair to good quality, however some items did lack flavour. All staff were very polite.

  This is our second stay at the hotel. You get a warm welcome as you arrive and this carries on through all the staff. You are treated like a guest instead of just another number. The staff are so helpful and will go out of their way to help. Food is excellent.
