We had dinner in the Royal Hotel Restaurant. it was very enjoyable good steak and the wine wasfirst class. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was a perfect location for our stay. We found our room to be spacious and the view of the river was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

View from room was amazing. Owners went out of their way to help us when we asked for some information. Location was perfect for what we wanted but the walk in to the village is across a field so if staying in winterthen be aware of the need for a torch! -

I cannot commend the staff at the Quay enough, they were so helpful and polite and did their best to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The food in the bar/lounge was excellent, it was simple food but done to a high standard in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again, the 24 hour room service was very useful too. We had a parking space at the rear of the hotel and Jenny carried the heavy bag up the steps when we arrived; we were even given a choice of rooms which meant that we had one nearest to the car park! The owners at the Grafton made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Jenny greeted us with a very professional but relaxing persona; she was always accommodating with any requests. The rooms was clean and tidy and attended too daily. Breakfast was lovely and Jenny was on hand for any requests. As final word I would definitely go back and stop at the Grafton again.

We loved everything about the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful and it was the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was clean, comfy and spacious enough for our dog. Although the hotel was full, there was no noise, in fact we thought it was quite empty. the car park is small but there is plenty of parking on the road next to the hotel. We will definitely return.
