  The hotel is very well situared, easy walking distance of the amenities etc, The rooms were a good size although we did find them too hot, we never had the heating on and had the window open at all times; this is not a criticism as I am sure other guests wouldnt complain.   Friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Good location with a beautiful park across the road. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental with a good selection and served at your table. We had enjoyable time in the hotel bar talking to Phil the owner who ensured the music was to the liking of the guests.   Great hotel in a fantastic bay location. We had a lovely sea view room which had a shared balcony overlooking the beach. The rooms are fine - plenty of storage space for a long holiday. Breakfast was excellent - wide selection of cereals, fruit etc on the buffet and an excellent hot breakfast - cooked to order and all served nice and hot. The hotel has a great reputation for it's food - an extensive fish and seafood menu a - A great spot for basing yourself if you want to explore the jersey coastline, the staff were fantastic and really made us feel at home, many locals use the public bar and they are a great bunch, up for a laugh and generally quite tame. The food was excellent, we were trapped there by blizzards for three extra days while the airport was closed and the hotel made every effort to lessen the impact by allowing us free use of their laundry facilities etc. And it has the best duke box in the bar ever
