  It was very convenient for the motorway. It was in a beautiful location with stunning views across the valley. The food was excellent which meant we didn't have to find somewhere else to eat and that made it all the more relaxing.   there was a wedding party on when we arrived and meals were not been made but when i asked the manager offered us the same food as the wedding party which was out of this world - Staff were friendly and organised everything for you and hotel bar was open all night to residents, and was really good sized rooms and clean!!!

Seeing how diappointed we were the young woman went to ask the landlord if he could reccomend somewhere or provide a sandwich.   The hotel was fine, clean, efficient. Breakfast was good. Front desk attention was OK, but not able to deal with the problems of internet access. I do not mean this as a criticism of the reception staff.   I liked the style and the presentation but there were a lack of mirrors and lighting. They should have placed a mirror in the bathroom in order for women to do their make up. Plus the room smelt of damp which was overpowering and spoilt my stay. An employee stated that they had a flood and was going to change the carpets not only in the rooms but ... vad folk säger » there was a large damp patch in the hallway which was also overpowering. This puts me off staying again as I would very much had liked to do so as the - we have stayed at the heritage center before. The apartment was excellent. Our stay was a little too short and much of the time was spent with our family who live in huddersfield. On arriving a gentleman came over to us and thankfully guided us to the correct entrance doorway and took us up to the apartment. I don't think we would have found it easily as we thought it was accessed via the lift. He replaced a hallway light straight away. We will stay again. (We like room 5 as it has a great view
