  It was very convenient for the motorway. It was in a beautiful location with stunning views across the valley. The food was excellent which meant we didn't have to find somewhere else to eat and that made it all the more relaxing.   The hotel standards are very high, and very pleased with the staff and the high standard of service.we receiveed, we thought that when Malcome and the Lady retired from the dining hall the standard might not be has good, however you must train new recruites very well as the young staff you now have are just has good, Compliments to the training... vad folk säger » you give these staff. The cost compared favourably with an overnight travel lodge but the service received far surpassed what we would have experienced had we used one.

  The hotel was fine, clean, efficient. Breakfast was good. Front desk attention was OK, but not able to deal with the problems of internet access. I do not mean this as a criticism of the reception staff.   Staff were very friendly, I even got a call in the morning asking what I would like for breakfast, & when I would be down, & it was prepared & ready to serve when I went down. New carpets, newly painted & the mattress was new it felt like a memo - Only stayed for one night at the Edgerton Guest House in Huddersfield and was very impressed! Spotless rooms and very beautyfully done, very comfortable bed, very nice building and again room spacious! Staff very helpfull and friendly and welcoming! Ikhlaq does a wonderful job... Breakfast was excellent which included fresh fruit, beautifully clean dinning room with little extras that are so important, equipted with a LCD television on the wall throughout the day.   I liked the style and the presentation but there were a lack of mirrors and lighting. They should have placed a mirror in the bathroom in order for women to do their make up. Plus the room smelt of damp which was overpowering and spoilt my stay. An employee stated that they had a flood and was going to change the carpets not only in the rooms but ... vad folk säger » there was a large damp patch in the hallway which was also overpowering. This puts me off staying again as I would very much had liked to do so as the - we have stayed at the heritage center before. The apartment was excellent. Our stay was a little too short and much of the time was spent with our family who live in huddersfield. On arriving a gentleman came over to us and thankfully guided us to the correct entrance doorway and took us up to the apartment. I don't think we would have found it easily as we thought it was accessed via the lift. He replaced a hallway light straight away. We will stay again. (We like room 5 as it has a great view

  A lovely, comfortable hotel, well situated for both Huddersfield and Halifax, It was our first stay in a Premier Inn but won't be our last, we were pleasantly surprised, Food was excellent in the pub.
