  We often come to Blackpool for a long weekend during the illuminations but hadn't stayed in the Henson before. There were 5 of us, all family, in 3 separate rooms and we were well taken care of from day one.   This was a very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Alan could not do enough for us and we will be returning next year. I have been visiting Blackpool for about 10 years and this is the first hotel where I would say I would return. - The friendliness of alan (owner).   We were made very welcome, the room was very comfortable and the entertainment and dining area was clean and tidy. The saff were vey helpful in giving us directions to the venues we needed to get to. The road works around Blackpool made things difficult but the staff could not have been more helpful with the directions they gave us. We have - After reading the reviews I was slightly worried about the hotel but on arrival the staff were brilliant, check in was quick and smooth, they'd gone the extra length to make sure they have parking for all guests. Breakfast was lovely and served quickly. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We had an amazing weekend and the service was second to none! I'd highly recommend the hotel!! Amazing value for money!

  We liked the location of the hotel. It was easily accessible from the tram and close to shops and other amenities. Even though they were in the middle of renovation, we were given a ground floor room, and not inconvenienced. - Been to this hotel before, and will definatley use again.   The hotel itself was great for the price. From arriving to a friendly welcome , to a great sea view in our double room we valued the kings as a very friendly and accommodating stay. Close to the promenade and an excellent location for a sunny walk on the front of blackpool. Getting about was easy as the tram stops are literally a 2 minute walk aw... vad folk säger » ay! En suite rooms were handy and the breakfast as filling and offered how you like it , so any picky eaters will be thrilled ! Also free car parking - Myself and my partnrreally enjoyd our stay. We cae out of season and most places where closed but we werent too bothered because we only came for a night away. The hotel was very clean and the staff where very friendly and helpfull. Highly recomend

  It was turkey and tinsel week (we were unaware when we booked). Comfort was excellent, food was brilliant, table served and a different menu every day with a choice of 5 starters, main courses and deserts. Entertainment in the evening was great and got everyone involved.   The hotel was clean and tidy and staff on arrival were friendly enough. The bar area was nice and relaxed with drinks being reasonably priced. The breakfasts were excellent and very good value for money. The lounge area was lovely and the furnishings were modern and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful when approached, especially the barman. The hotel is in a very central position on the promenade so it was an ideal base to explore Blackpool and the surrounding area.

  This was a small boutique hotel with only 14 rooms. The room was beautifully decorated and all our needs catered for, all the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the Chef stayed late to ensure we had a meal on our late arrival.   Simon and Rhona made us very welcome. A great couple making a real effort with the Guilderoy - our stay was excellent . A very nicely decorated place, located in a quiet area but convenient for the centre. Excellent food (I need to diet now!). Their web site is very honest, and states what they offer - do take a look.
