  One of the cleanest hotels where I have stayed in Sri Lanka. Since it was the first I was surprised at the bathroom but they are almost like that everywhere in Sri Lanka: small and not modern. The shower is in one corner and there is nothing separating it from the rest of the bathroom and ergo the water will spread. They give you a glass of fresh juice in the morning together with the sri Lank - this was my second time I stayed at the saffron. first time i came for my business and i had a good time in my first stay. that is why i decided to come second time with my wife to stay in the saffron. we had a very good time and my wife was very happy. we got a nice room with antique furniture. and hotel staff arranged city tour. it was really nice. we enjoyed in the beach and could see nice places. food also really nice. we could arranged a trip to kandy with a hotel car. everything was good.

  Awesome staff, really nicely designed rooms, many friendly guest. The hostel is located on Galle Road really close to Majestic City, so it is very central. The price is amazing, I would definately recommend this to all backpackers who need a cheap but nice place to stay. It just opened a while ago, so it looks really nice in there.   I really liked the food in their restaurant. The staff was very helpful and it seemed sincere, not just for tips. It is a good place to stay for the money and it was perfect for getting to and from the Fort Train Station. Shalimar Hotel House travelling has nice cars and its drivers are very good. For 19 days, I am using the car of Shalimar Hotel with the service of driver and guide when travelling in Sri Lanka. The driver Chaturanga is very experienced and he is a very good driver who can help you enjoy your travelling in Sri Lanka. Mr. Dinesh, the Director of Shalimar Hotel, is very kind and responsible for safety and good rest of his clients.

  The Colombo City Hostel is run by the friendliest staff I have ever met. It is immaculately clean, with modern rooms, 6 individual toilet/showers and an open plan kitchen garden area that is always tidy thanks to the housekeeper Asoka. The Hostel is extremely clean and tidy, located close to a supermarket and bank and only a short tuktuk ride away from everything in Colombo (and the beach!).
