  There was nothing we didn't love about this hotel. The location is great, it is quiet, the view is stunning, the food was great. The interior and decoration is just wonderful and tasteful, the bathrooms are newly renovated, they have a lovely garden with sections for every couple so you don't feel like in a croweded place. We were there for only 3 days and it was so hard to leave!! Could spend days lying on that hammock outside!!

  What a treat! Everything was just fantastic- so relaxing, worth every cent. The staff are so friendly, helpful and treat you like royalty. The food was exceptional. Staff set us up on the beach for dinner one night(poolside another), and served the best fresh seafood. Chef was so engaging, and bent over back ways to make our stay amazing. They don't serve alcohol but you can BYO(bring your own) and drink anywhere on the pr - From the check-in at Roman Beach until we left we had the best service from the staff. We went there for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and were surprised by a complimentary cake and a special flower arrangement on the bed. The room was also large, clean and very nice, with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean.   Best Beach Resort in Sri Lanka for granted.. I have been to Sri Lanka several times and stayed in Resorts in different beaches like Negombo, Wadduwa, Kalutara, Beruwala, Bentota, Ahang, Kosgoda and Galle. This is my second time to stay in Chaaya Tranz Hotel at Hikkaduwa within three months. The Crab restraunt was exceptional and the chef fantastic. The food rivaled the best mitchelin stared restraunts and was exceptional value for money. As a regular traveller who spends over 90 days each year in hotels this one stands out with its high levels of service.

  I had stayed with my husband at tandem guest house for 2 days. I must say that I completely enjoyed my stay. The rooms were super clean with clean bedsheets, so were the bathrooms. The breakfast was simple and good. We asked for Ananda to get us fish and sea food and we had two amazing meals of jumbo prawns crab and para fish . Everything you need is within walking distanc - The Oasis Villa is a nice hotel just across the road from the beautiful beach. It's close to communications, and you can catch the bus to villages near by. The breakfast is served by nice staff and consists of tea or coffee, egg, toast and a plate of fresh fruit. The hotel has a nice pool. The owner of the hotel, (Kingsley), is doing everything to make you feel welcome, and always helps you out if there is anything you need.   Location is excellent - 5 minutes walk to the beach, and at the same time very calm and green. We were happy to stay not right on the beach, cause noise of ocean surf is good but not when it`s 24 hours per day. Staff is friendly, usefull and not obsessive.   From the moment we arrived in the quaint town of Hikkaduwa we were met with 5* hospitality! A member of the Villa Tara staff had been waiting for us from the main street all day to guide us up the gorgeous windy village track, across the local railway line, to the most beautiful hidden villa on this little off street path. We were escorted around the Vi - The staff was very friendly. The manager was a very nice guy that took time to explain many places to go during my stay in Sri Lanka and gave me the map that he had hanging on the wall in his quarters . The night air was cool and very quiet. You can just barely hear the sea. If you lay at night you will see fruit bats flying above head, and the tranquil sound of nature buzzing.

  Kalla Bongo Lake Resort Är ett väldigt trevligt hotell med god mat och trevlig personal. Först tyckte vi det var långt från centrum i Hikkaduwa men det var väldigt skönt att komma ifrån den hetsiga trafiken och med tuc tuc kostade det bara 10:- kronor att komma dit.
