  if you are a budget traveller, I highly recommend this place in Minorca. Perfect position, close to Ciutadella city centre, very close to a cheap supermarket and a self service laundry, and on the way to the most beautiful "cale" of the Island. Rooms are maybe a bit small but clean. Beds are comfortable. Simple clean furniture, the wardrobe smelt ... vad folk säger » good. We had our own private bathroom. Rooms are cleaned every day. If you have a car, the parking is right in front of the Hostal.The owner, Inés, is - The staff were just so super lovely.. You walk in and are greeted with such a warm smile. They were more than happy to give directions, suggest places to go.. In fact the woman at the front desk spent so much time helping us with maps that we felt like we had a personal assistant! The room was clean, comfortable and the bed was comfy.. The shared bathroom was clean also. No complaints!

  Fornells is a lovely little marina/fishing/watersports village. Much prettier than any other village on the island.   During 20 summers in Menorca, I have rented/visited many of these incredible noble's country houses (among which some of them became high level agroturismo). But Turmaden has an exceptionnal charm ! It is a fantasticplace, very authentico (but very confortable) strategically located in the island and easily accessible. We had our own pool, plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture, indoors was well equipped and comfortable - queen sized bed in main bedroom was great.   Underbart mysigt och trevligt rum och hus! Rogivande och mysig omgivning. Frukosten var helt suverän. Personalen var hjälpsamma och mycket trevliga. Trevligt med alla djuren runt omkring oss.
