  We stayed at Hostal La Isla in august for 7 days with the half-board service. Satisfying food - but don't expect a five stars treatment, remember it is a hostel - daily cleaning service, aircon+wi-fi, closeness to the touristic port, the city centre, a supermarket and a free car parking in case you rent a car. Friendly and kind staff. Believe me, ... vad folk säger » it a good value for money and you won't get deceived by this hostel. - The owner was extraordinarily friendly and helpful; the double bedroom for a single person was more than adequate. Breakfast was lovely and he offered me choices of cheese and tomato on the toast - very Spanish and very nice. Location was very central but yet very quiet. Extremely good value. I will return because it's a beautiful spot and the people are so warm.

  I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Food and entertainment together with friendly staff and excellent accommodation made my holiday very enjoyable.   I think I read some reviews saying the beds were comfy, and yes I did find the beds comfortable. It's a good value for money hostal with very helpful staff. Rooms have got all the basic mod cons like tv and bathroom.   if you are a budget traveller, I highly recommend this place in Minorca. Perfect position, close to Ciutadella city centre, very close to a cheap supermarket and a self service laundry, and on the way to the most beautiful "cale" of the Island. Rooms are maybe a bit small but clean. Beds are comfortable. Simple clean furniture, the wardrobe smelt ... vad folk säger » good. We had our own private bathroom. Rooms are cleaned every day. If you have a car, the parking is right in front of the Hostal.The owner, Inés, is - The staff were just so super lovely.. You walk in and are greeted with such a warm smile. They were more than happy to give directions, suggest places to go.. In fact the woman at the front desk spent so much time helping us with maps that we felt like we had a personal assistant! The room was clean, comfortable and the bed was comfy.. The shared bathroom was clean also. No complaints!
