  The hotel was great value, the pool area was very well laid out. The choice of buffet or A La Carte was good and the food in the restaurant at the pool area was very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall the hotel was pleasant. We would go back but would request a floor above the third level. - Everything.   The hotel accommodations have recently been (extravagantly) refurbished and the rooms have a 'new' look. Reception and the public areas retain the traditional, luxurious appearance that first impressed my wife and myself when we made our first (of four) visits to the hotel. We arrived late in the evening, the restaurant was closed, but they had arranged for us to have a cold meal in the restaurant! We had half-board; the food was really good, fresh and with good variation. The next day we were able to change room to a higher floor without problems. The last day we were leaving late. We were given a room to keep until afternoon, very much appreciated to be able to have a shower and change before leaving as the temperat

  I have spent two nights at Apuntadores together with my 14 years old son. Our overall experience was very positive: our apartment was clean and very well equipped, and we were very positively surprised by the small "welcome gifts", the bottle of cold mineral water in the fridge, the small packets of toast bread, butter, marmelade, coffee and tea o... vad folk säger » n the kitchen table! We had reserved a small one bedroom apartment and we were given a bigger one at no extra cost. Everything was very clean and fully equipped kitchen. Very close to many beautiful places.

  The setting was stunning, the pool area and gardens were lovely and itwas very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very helpful. Willdefinitely visit again. - Stayed in 11 hotels during a round Majorca fly/drive. El Encinar was the most spectacular with our room (suite) being as good a suite as I have ever stayed in.   Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre.   Loved the facilities at the hotel, the gym was great and in door pool jacuzi, steam and sauna, outdoor pool very cold but refreshing. We used the bike storage which was very secure and hired bikes at the port. We didnt eat at the hotel as we were self catering but it looked good quality food we just enjoyed walking into the port.
