The location was wonderful - we visited just prior to the opening of tourist season, which suited us just fine. The area was very quiet, and everything was close and accessible. We were within 1k of the beach, and walked to the closest town in less than 15 minutes. Bicycles and taxis made everything else we wanted to see a short hop away. The

Location is great (700m to Cala Mondrago), everything in the house is in mint condition, very nice and stylish rooms. Breakfast was fine with homemade pastry (cakes etc.) Good pool so you can even not leave the hotel if you like. Yoga teacher comes to the hotel twice a week (10 Euro for a lesson). Best Mallorca's beaches are nearby or can be easily reached by car.

The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. The staff were excellent, on every level. Very child friendly with kids club, indoor pool was a life send in the bad weather. Apartment was a great size for our family of 5. Hotel is about 8 or 9 years old but looks brand new. Great pools (one for young children, one for adults). Great location in Puerto de Soller (but if your main interest is to go to beaches, I would recommend other locations like Cala D'or or Alcudia). Lovely clean hotel with helpfull staff, breakfast was great especially squeezing your own orange juice. Had a room facing the mountains, although not sea view the mountain view was great, really refreshing. The balcony was large so drinks in the evening was relaxing. Staff were great and very accommadating booking restaurants etc specially for the surrounding areas.
One street away from the beach and in a fairly quiet location.

Ett mycket charmigt familjedrivet hotell med vacker trädgård och utsikt över bergstopparna. Frukosten var bra med färsk pressad apelsinjuice som ägarfrun själv serverade. Extremely good service from all of the staff. We arrived late in the evening, the restaurant was closed, but they had arranged for us to have a cold meal in the restaurant! We had half-board; the food was really good, fresh and with good variation.
