  An exceptional hotel, with meticulous attention to detail. The staff were solicitous, attentive, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and the bathrooms supplied with all that one could wish for in terms of toiletries and other 'necessary' items. I loved this hotel and look forward to more stays there. - Absolutely wonderful! Delightful decoration and attention to detail which gave an almost mythical charm to the hotel. Staff incredibly helpful and cheerful and the breakfast was beyond belief; A plethora of beautifully presented delights - each delicious and original. A pure dream in every way.

  Hotel Albares is tucked into a popular plaza in downtown Vielha. The Aranese family who owns the establishment (and lives there) is warm and welcoming and does their very best to make you feel like you've been invited as a guest into their home as opposed to just renting a hotel room. The Internet is fast but only works well in the lobby, although, like I said, - Friendly and helpful staff, excellent deal with breakfast (which had a lot of choice). We had a mini suite which was spacious and comfortable. Hotel located in centre of town and very convenient for bars, shops and restaurants.

Place with a score of 10! - A beautiful mountain get away we travelled with our dog and baby and it was perfect. It's in the middle of nowhere but that's exactly what we needed to escape from the city. Staff were very helpful in all aspects.

  We loved this Hotel. The common areas were relaxing and comfortable. The room was comfortable and had amazing views of the mountains. A welcome drink was well received. Although we do not speak Spanish (our fault) we speak French and so did our host.   The most positive point about the hotel must have been the hotel staff. They were extremely polite and helpful and almost overly eager to help. We stayed for one night in the Superior Double room which was exactly that, superior. The room was furnished in a combination of the old building and a more modern style in a very nice way and was very cle... vad folk säger » an and large. The other thing that stood out was the breakfast. It was a buffet-style breakfast with choices ranging from your basic cereals to local - This was our second visit, which says a lot. It is a small, well designed boutique hotel, with the character of being within a very old building within the old town of Solsona. The rooms are large and comfortable, and our stay was very relaxing. Easy to explore old town. We ate at a nearby italian restaurant, as previously, as there are no dining options at hotel. Breakfasts are excellent. Staff warm and welcoming. Worth paying to use hotel garage, but only small so reserve in advance.

  The place, the facilities and the owners are wonderful. You can relax at the balconies or in the living room and, at the same time, enjoy excursions and visits to the villages or mountains around. It's a perfect place but the best is that you feel really welcomed by Cristina and Marco.   Very nice service-oriented people, very friendly and helping.Fine facilities. Nice restaurants around. Great country side and village. Location by a river and artificial lake. Would certainly get back there. Certianly for a ski vacation.

  Five star service from arrival to checking out. Very attentive staff. Excellent location to the ski lift. Buffet breakfast very good service and choice. Lovely room with nice views, bathroom rather small though!
