  An exceptional hotel, with meticulous attention to detail. The staff were solicitous, attentive, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and the bathrooms supplied with all that one could wish for in terms of toiletries and other 'necessary' items.   Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating to every question and request. The breakfast spread was absolutely amazing -- plenty to eat and drink before a day on the slopes.   We loved the hospitality of the host Estelle and her husband Joachim. They made us feel right at home and treated us like their own family. We met their son Isaac and he was as helpful and as charming too! We had an upstairs bedroom which was well looked after with a balcony and the view and the weather was very kind to us. Add to that the delightful hospitality of the hosts and well-prepared, beautifully served food, and you have a winner well worth the journey!

  We spent 10 weeks travelling from Santander to Menorca and back. Our final stop on the way home was at Ca l'Estruch in Villaclara- and what a fantastic way to end our holiday. If you want top quality accommodation, excellent food and the warmest of welcomes this is the place to go.   The most positive point about the hotel must have been the hotel staff. They were extremely polite and helpful and almost overly eager to help. We stayed for one night in the Superior Double room which was exactly that, superior. The other thing that stood out was the breakfast. It was a buffet-style breakfast with choices ranging from your basic cereals to local - This was our second visit, which says a lot. It is a small, well designed boutique hotel, with the character of being within a very old building within the old town of Solsona. The rooms are large and comfortable, and our stay was very relaxing. Easy to explore old town. We ate at a nearby italian restaurant, as previously, as there are no dining options at hotel. Breakfasts are excellent. Staff warm and welcoming. Worth paying to use hotel garage, but only small so reserve in advance.
