  Beautiful decorated interiors, lovely garden, quiet area, but most of all a very personal welcome and warm hospitality by the owners. A lot of attention for all details, and excellent dining! Also our three daughters of 7, 11 and 12 yrs old liked this hotel very much.

  From the minute you enter the hotel you already feel something is different. Then, when you get to your room you understand how different it is. The lobby includes the front desk with staff that was always willing to help and give useful advice. Just past the front desk you have the breakfast area/snack room where you can grab something to eat or... vad folk säger » drink when you come back in the afternoon for a siesta or in the evening. We loved the Carrot cake! The standard room is divided into two separate ar - There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

  We loved the hospitality of the host Estelle and her husband Joachim. They made us feel right at home and treated us like their own family. We met their son Isaac and he was as helpful and as charming too! We had an upstairs bedroom which was well looked after with a balcony and the view and the weather was very kind to us.   We loved our stay at this Hotel Palace! Perfect, professional and very polite and helping staff. We had a wonderful room with a balcony and good view (standard). It was perfect, spotlessly clean, light, not noisy. They cleaned the room several times a day. It is very traditional, aristocratic classic hotel, with classic light interior at the same time with all the modern - The Hotel is beautiful,but there were very few large bath towels, no small wash clothes and no extra pillows. Also we checked in at 10:00 am and left our bags since our mini suites were not ready. We gave our passport copies, our credit cards and all info, but when we came back at 5 pm from sightseeing,our bags were still not brought to our rooms. We were 3 couples and were exhausted. They said they needed another signature before they could put the bags in the rooms. It was ridiculous since we

I really liked the high quality of all the furnishings and especially the bed linens. And the staff couldn't have been nicer or more attentive.
