  It was a great place to stay... Clean n quite and they had a good security system and they are very budget friendly. .. and the location is perfect. Its right in the middle of the city n has near by access to the metro and restaurants. The fountain where are night the street artists come to perform. The palace is like a 29 minutes walk for the hot... vad folk säger » el. The hotel is totally worth it. - The location is brilliant. Rooms are clean, and good value for money. I can recommend this hostal to anyone who would like to explore the city because everything are close in the vacinity. The bathroom and room are tiny,but for the five nights we stayed, it was sufficient. Fridge, hair dryer, clean linen and towels plus amenities everyday.

  Just perfect for a stay in Madrid for some night close to everything. A bit small room, but always very clean and newly restaurated. Very silent, as long as the window is closed. Noisy city outside! Shower with instant hot water. Fridge that works perfect. Good elevator. Highly recommended! - Victoria is just steps away from sol in Madrid; it's a perfect location for restaurants and shops (and Metro) and wanting to be where it's all happening. The price is good--actually it's excellent-- considering the location. The room (we were in room 8 just down the hall from check-in) was very quiet. And given how the building seems old and dark, the room was amazingly clean.

  it was extremely convenient, right near the subway/metro system and easy walking distance to many sites. It was close to a variety of restaurants, bars and shopping areas. The staff were very friendly in helping with directions or questions about the room. The room itself is small but has everything you need. The hostel is a minute's walk from Puerta del Sol - the liveliest area of the city, and 10 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor and Gran Via.   The location was excellent. The room clean with super hot shower. The hotel was located right on the Puerte del Sol in the heart of the city and near El Corte Ingles which was handy for breakfast. - Perfect location in the heart of town - small distance to Royal Palace, Mayor square, Prado and Thysen museums, sunday market etc.

  Great location - close to everything for sightseeing and nightlife but a quiet street for sleeping/relaxing. We were in C Balsa - just a minute or two from C Cadiz and less than 5 minutes from Sol, Major, Anna etc. The apartment was 5th floor but had a lift to the 4th. Great to have the roof terrace. A Chinese saying goes: although a sparrow is small, it is sufficient n have everything.

  Hotel is very well located, a few steps from Porta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, has very friendly staff and has a very cool decoration in the room and a cool design. Breakfast is just regular is taken is taken in restaurant located 1 min from the Hotel. There's a small market right in front of the hotel what is very convenient. I definitely recommend ... vad folk säger » Alhambra suites. - Very central, little hard to find but right off Plaza Mayor. Small room but everything I needed. Gentleman at the front desk very obliging. Very close to hop on hop off, supermercado, correos. Stop over on my way to Leon to start the camino. Unfortunately breakfast is not served until 0800 hrs but i had to leave earlier. Would stay again.
