  Just perfect for a stay in Madrid for some night close to everything. A bit small room, but always very clean and newly restaurated. Very silent, as long as the window is closed. Noisy city outside! Shower with instant hot water. Fridge that works perfect. Good elevator. Highly recommended! - Victoria is just steps away from sol in Madrid; it's a perfect location for restaurants and shops (and Metro) and wanting to be where it's all happening. The price is good--actually it's excellent-- considering the location. The room (we were in room 8 just down the hall from check-in) was very quiet. And given how the building seems old and dark, the room was amazingly clean.

  it was extremely convenient, right near the subway/metro system and easy walking distance to many sites. It was close to a variety of restaurants, bars and shopping areas. The staff were very friendly in helping with directions or questions about the room. The room itself is small but has everything you need. The hostel is a minute's walk from Puerta del Sol - the liveliest area of the city, and 10 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor and Gran Via. The receptionist was helpful, and recommended nearby places of interest.

Basically in Puerta del Sol, with a subway station 1 min away, and at walking distance from the major attractions (Gran Via, Plaza de Cibeles, Calle Alcalá, Palacio Real, Catedral de Almudena, Paseo del Prado, etc.) a lot of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby, but inside the hotel it was reall... vad folk säger » y quite, besides all the street noise.   Hotel is very well located, a few steps from Porta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, has very friendly staff and has a very cool decoration in the room and a cool design. Breakfast is just regular is taken is taken in restaurant located 1 min from the Hotel. There's a small market right in front of the hotel what is very convenient. Gentleman at the front desk very obliging. Very close to hop on hop off, supermercado, correos. Stop over on my way to Leon to start the camino. Unfortunately breakfast is not served until 0800 hrs but i had to leave earlier. Would stay again.

  Perfect location close to Puerta del Sol and very comfortable, this apartment was a great choice for our trip to Madrid. Alex checked us in and offered great advice about the restaurants we should visit and how to get around easily. Doris was reall - We have nothing but great things to say about Spain select! The service was fantastic throughout and all went perfectly. Alex was really helpful during check-in and Juliette from the concierge service even booked us guided tours of the prado. The apartment is spotless and very tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn't be better with Sol just a minute's walk away. Thank you Spain Select, we'll be back again!

  The hotel is located in the center of the city only a short two blocks from the Sol Metro station. We could walk to the major areas of interest and the Atocha train station (cab with luggage). There are dozens of tapas bars near the hotel. Finding "sit down" dinner restaurants was tougher but when we did the food was excellent. The hotel staff ... vad folk säger » was very helpful and courteous. - It was very comfortable indeed, in the heart of Madrid, with an excellent cafe for breakfast in the hotel itself. In addition, the price for the room represented excellent value for money and if the hotel had not been fully-booked, we would have stayed longer at it.
