The receptionist was very nice but a little "not all there" which was really funny. It seemed to me he didn't speak too much Spanish (yes I know...) but we where able to understand each other eventually. The location was the best I ever had in Bcn. At least half of points of interest is reachable by feet. Just 200 m or less to the station of A1 and A2 buses to airport. Our stay at Hostel Goya and as such in Barcelona was wonderful experience. Hostel staffs were helpful, warm and welcoming. When we arrived at the hostel Ms.Path explained in details where to go, what to see and what to eat. We followed her recommendations and our Barcelona vacation was a memorable experience that we would cherish this life time. The premise and the room were kept spick and span condition. The room was small (perfect for a young couple) but everything seemed new and very clean. We had a small balcony off our room which was lovely and let lots of sunlight in. I was impressed by the quality for how much we paid. Great location for tourist attractions and just for wandering. Convenient underground parking garages close by. -

Location. The apartments are situated next to Plaça de Catalunya - your city hub. Metro stop is right below and you'll are next to very nice El Born and Barrio Gotico areas. Las Ramblas street is not far too.
Our apartment and bathroom were nice and clean and the kitchen was good too.
We were welcomed by Virginia and all here advices for our 3-day visit were great.

This boutique lived up to all my expectations from reading the reviews. It's within walking distance from Catalunya square (where a bus runs from the airport every 10-20 minutes for only about 6 euro a person) and the staff are beyond excellent. The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. The room was large with a very high ceiling and nicely appointed and the bathroom good and brightly tiled. Our room had large old doors that opened to a balcony on the street....very nice. The staff were exceptionally helpful with suggestions about sightseeing and restaurants , and helped greatly in receiving/printing and sending some unexpected business e-mails for me. Brea

Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

Was looking for a last minute booking for weekend trip to Barcelona & chose L' Antic Espai due to reviews. Happily I can only agree & add to the positive vibe - it was a perfect little room (little is true but it was ample), brilliant location, amazing breakfast and fantastic staff, Danny in particular living up to his online reputation. Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

Very warm welcome from Carlos which continued throughout our stay-couldnt have been more helpful.
Room was a small Eco only but perfect for our two night stay as not needing a room to spend time in other than as a base.
Wonderful bed and best sleep I've had for ages in hotel room (travel a lot with work).
Great large shower- rain effect and seperate hand held.
Lovely touch of free tea and coffee available for guests and a light breakfast provided (not mentioned when booking).

This hotel is very well located a short walk to the old city and public
transport. The décor and fittings were all first class, very clean and
nice. The rooms were very quiet even with a view to the street. The
king bed was extremely comfortable and the tv had many English
channels. The manager was extremely helpful and keen to please. There
is no front desk nor is there a clear big sign identifying the entry,
you need to call the manager to gain entry. The car-park is in the next

Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. -
I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.
