  Excellent location close to Atocha station, walking distance to the three big museums (and the city center, if you like a bit of a hike), supermarket at the corner. The hotel is on a quiet side street; there was absolutely no street noise. Nicely designed, well equipped for a longer stay with dishwasher, washing machine and kitchen (we were there ... vad folk säger » for only one night so didn't use). - Great concept, amazing apartment. Upside independence, downside, no livebeing could assist us, very frustrating experince. However the next day the staff apologized and gave us a voucher for parking, which helped.

  The staff was completely accommodating, friendly, and speedy. The room design was very cool: exposed brick, bunk beds, ultra modern shower, and very quiet. Beds and blankets very cozy, crib already set up when we arrived including baby bedding. Tons of offerings for breakfast including fresh fruit which is difficult to find many times. Breakfast is all you could ask for with great assortment of fresh fruit, hams, cheeses, eggs, etc. Staff very competent and welcoming. The location was excellent. Retiro Park is across the street, the Prado is 5 blocks away and you can walk to Plaza Mayor in 20 minutes.   Location, location, location! The apartment was great. It met all our needs. It was clean and very functional. Also, Jose Manuel was a great host! He gave us all the information we needed. He went above and beyond what was expected. My daughter's luggage was misplaced by the airline. Jose Manuel agreed to be the airline's contact and had the lugga... vad folk säger » ge delivered to him. He then personally delivered the luggage to us. What more can I say? Thank you so much Jose Manuel! You made our Madrid vacation - The owner was very accommodating. The location was very near market places and metros. It was a very convenient location if you are staying in Madrid longer than 2 days! The kitchen was well equipped and there is a good washing machine that actually worked.
