  The location to all the places i wanted to go was very central - The room was clean, quiet and the staff were friendly, I would go there again. It was well situated, a few streets up there is a good shopping street (Madrid version of Camden).

  Everything was top class, location, comfort, facilities, staff. Only discomfort would be smoking allowed in hotel bar, and indeed most of the restaurants/bars are still smoking zones. - Good central location, but at the same time very quiet. Comfortable room, helpful staff.

  Jag fick mycket bra service och hjälp av en engelsk talade i pesonalen Möjligtvis hotellägaren. Han hjälpte oss när vi hade bokat husbil och fick firman att hämta oss vid hotellet. - The best value for the money.   Friendly staff, silence and safety. - very clean, every day changing sheets and making up the bed. the bathroom was in perfect condition. very high maintenance. there is a guard all day and night - high safty.

  Location was perfect. 5 minutes walk from the Grand Via Metro. Reception 24hrs. Maria (the host) was very friendly and helpful. I felt like being at home rather then a privat mini hotel (especially after four days). The rooms were cleaned every day which includes fresh towels (to my very own surpise). The whole place was spotless. Bathroom lacked ... vad folk säger » on space but manageable. Would I stay there again - yes I would! Simplicity is the key! - Hostal Hispano takes WiFi seriously! It is strong and reliable . My room (220) was nice, spacious and quiet. Very clean and lots of fresh white towels. There's a coffee and refreshments machine in the lobby. The area were the hostel is located is terrific. My compliments to the sweet staff.

  Everything. Have been staying here for over 24 years. I have always had a pleasant stay. The staff is always the same and they, of course, know me by now and have seen me come with my child since he was born (is now 12 years old). The staff is helpful and professional. I defy you to find better-located accommodation anywhere else in Madrid! A 5-min.walk from Plaza Cibeles (2nd stop on the Airport Transfer), 5 min from metro stops Sevilla and Antoni Martin. Surrounded by great tapas bars, cosy restaurants, breakfast bars and a corner shop directly opposite. Plaza Santa Ana is around the corner and major attractions like Parque Buen Retiro, El Prado or La Reine Sofia are all within 5-10 min st

  This hotel was a great value for the money. It was clean, refurbished, friendly staff, centrally located, gay-friendly, etc. Particularly liked the free Internet and computer in the room itself.   The location of the hotel - I was travelling with a suitcase and the hotel is literally just around the corner from a metro stop. The staff were very helpful - very centrally located for main attractions. - Amazing location, friendly staff who provided any assistance required regarding directions etc. Basic but comfortable room.

  location is more than perfect in the middle of the very live street in Madrid. you can just go down and you will see people still going walking everywhere even at 2:00pm. Staff were friendly and you can leave your luggage there after checking out. Internet is very fast and stable. room was really clean but somehow small. - I loved the room decor.... vad folk säger » Decent hot water, comfortable bed, fun overall decor. It felt very 'Spain'. We we given complimentary coffee in the morning even though we didn't have the room and breakfast package.
