  The location was excellent with great transport links on your doorstep and the Gaudi house opposite the apartments. The view from the clean and stylish roof top was brilliant and the two small pools was perfect for a small dip but dont expect to do length in them!   The facilities were excellent, the power shower was amazing, laptop with free internet and all the finishing touches to the decor etc really made the difference. The hotel is right in the middle of everything but you never hear any of the traffic because of the very good double glazing even though we were right on the road.   Room was excellent, especially the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant on one occasion. The food was wonderful. We were served by a young lady who appeared to be new. I think her name was Alexandra? The staff are friendly and helpful all the time and were kind to my 5 months old son. The inside of the hotel is clean with modern design, the room although slightly small but are comfortable and clean and the hotel provide a cot to by son freely. I was expecting a moderate size swimming pool unfortunately it was small, but again it is clean with modern design romantic atmosphere.

  Hotel Bagues was everything we were hoping for. It was a stylish very chic looking hotel with an outstanding staff. The location was awesome right in the middle of Las Ramblas and steps to the Bari Gotic. I would highly recommend this location as the prices were very good as well. They upgraded our room and gave us a corner room with views on 2 sides of the hotel. The delay did give us a chance to - The staff are top-notch. Very few luxury hotels are able to balance friendliness with efficiency like Hotel Bagues. It's a rare gift to offer the experience they do for guests. The ambiance of the hotel is fantastic, too, and despite being on the La Rambla - with a room overlooking it - at night we could only hear the faintest of sounds. Luxuriously decorated, but cosy, the entire hotel is a really lovely experience.
