  This is a gem of a miniature castle/hotel. Javier, the proprietor and owner, embodies old world class. The hotel is on the edge of a very small medieval walled city mounted on a hill. From the top of the tower you have 360 degree view of vineyards and wineries. This is perfect for anyone enjoying wine and good food. You need a car t - We loved the friendly and helpful attention of the hosts - Javier & Rafael. They made us feel welcome immediately. Though there were dining options locally we decided to have dinner at the hotel and we're delighted we did. All of Javier's recommendations were spot on including his house white wine when far more expensive options could have been advised. Worthwhile having an after dinner drink on the terrace at night.
