  This is a gem of a miniature castle/hotel. Javier, the proprietor and owner, embodies old world class. The hotel is on the edge of a very small medieval walled city mounted on a hill. From the top of the tower you have 360 degree view of vineyards and wineries. This is perfect for anyone enjoying wine and good food. You need a car t - We loved the friendly and helpful attention of the hosts - Javier & Rafael. They made us feel welcome immediately. Though there were dining options locally we decided to have dinner at the hotel and we're delighted we did. All of Javier's recommendations were spot on including his house white wine when far more expensive options could have been advised. Worthwhile having an after dinner drink on the terrace at night.   We enjoyed everything about our stay at this hotel. The reception lady was very helpful and spoke good English. If you are after modern/contemporary, this isn't the place for you. It is more Spanish style here which is what we wanted. We had a very delicious meal at the restaurant, the highlight being the battered white asparagus with jamon. Just ... vad folk säger » beautiful. The walk up to Laguardia takes only 5-10 mins and the views are magnificient. We would recommend this place to all. Oh and I nearly forgot. - The Tempranilla Room is a beauty ! A small bottle of their glorioso wine is a nice welcome gift ..The guided tour by Maria was very enjoyable and educating .Unforgettable in this hotel is the service with a smile .Do not miss the special menu for hotel guests in their restaurant .Really good value for money and a bottle of their outstanding Milflores red wine included .a real treat !
