The view of the Mezquita just outside the window was amazing! It's in a great position, very close and walking distance to everywhere. I definitely recommend it & will stay there again if I'm back in Cordoba. The staff were very helpful & nice too.

  1) 73 years old, travelling first time in my life by Interrail, it was easier for me to get a Hotel than to get a reservation in a train. And the hotel near the railway station. 2) I had only my mobil-phone and had my Booking Number on it, no paper, no document.   The pensione is central, quiet, clean and comfortable. The air con was a pleasant respite from 39 degree temp outside for a mid afternoon siesta. The hosts were friendly and pleasant although we were new to Spain and they had little English we didn't converse much. Entry was by ringing the doorbell which was good for security but made us feel awkw... vad folk säger » ard when we thought they might be resting. - We stayed 1 night in Pension el Portillo and the room was perfect for that time. It is a rather small family-run business in a very good location (around 5 mins walk from La Mosquita and Alcazar), clean and comfortable, with a lovely owner. I would not choose it for longer stay (3-4 days) but it was perfect for 1 night.

  The location is to die for! We had a car and could actually park it very close to the hostal for free. We did everything walking from there. The rooms are very cosy with AC (needed in this city) and private bathrooms. - near bus station and location is perfect!!

  This is a fantastic hotel- very intimate- only nine rooms, but decorated beautifully and the service is wonderful! You will think your room was designed for royal visitors. Maybe the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Spotless, ideally located to dining and shopping. Staff is especially friendly...manager makes a special effort to ensure an agreeable experience. Location in Juderia is in most interesting part of town for tourists with excellent access to points of interest. All in all it was the best hotel experience we had in Southern Spain.

  Amazing location in the heart of the city, in only 5 minutes you can reach the Mezquita of Cordoba. Even if the street is narrow the Hostal has a basement parking which costs 10 euros/day, so you can forget about the problem "where do I park?". There is a dfference between the "Hotel" and "Hostal" Maestre, there are both on the same street, they b... vad folk säger » elong to the same owner but only the Hotel has a 24 hour opened reception. So, if you come late at night and you're staying at the Hostal you have to - Fantastic! Two four-persons appartment (while we had booked rooms) made our stay in Cordoba unforgettable. A definite recommendation. Clean, comfortable, great staff, parking, centrally located, great value, all facilities, Wifi works well, allowed us to leave luggage after check-out and explained the entire old city. The apartments were spacious and airco worked well. The lady at check-in desk (she is Colombian) was friendly and efficient - a true asset for the hotel. We plan to be back!
