  Hotel check-in staff were very helpful, spoke good English and were friendly. The hotel was re-opened earlier this summer after major renovations. Our room was very nice: good size, good comfortable bed, good linen, well-appointed; good bathroom and amenities. We would love to have sat on the deck had the weather been better. Breakfasts, included, were great: tremendous vari - Location was good, just a 2 min walk to the lake. No views of it from the room (top floor, room 308) but nice scenery though. The hotel and its rooms have been recently renovated (past 1-2 years). They were nice and had a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a a little small but not an issue at all. Free parking in the hotel at the back (under cover) or front. There were plenty of spaces available when we went. Wifi was excellent (11Mbs download) and the upload speed was 14M

  Fantastic trip!! I Loved my stay at pension union, highlighted by brothers who run it. The room was spotless and large and the breakfast was fantastic! Me & my girlfriend stayed here for two days as we explored bled and went on a tour of the emelald river and had a great time. Perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the lake. A family run hotel with two brothers being front-of-house, and their father playing the piano in the restaurant when we were there. Room was very spacious and clean. Parking at the hotel was nearby and free. Restaurant served good food. An ideal stop-over place for us - we will be returning in future.

  We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment with our 22-month-old and found it to be a perfect space in which to cook meals, and enjoy some quiet time in the dining/living rooms after putting him to bed.We also loved the little play area with sand box and swing set. Everything was nice in this villa, the staff was very kind, our appartment spacious, clean, nicely furnished and had everything in it. The small terrace was cute, and view on the mountains was beautiful. We loved every second. Breakfast was small but fresh, and I have had the best coffee here!

  This hotel was excellent. The location was really good for everything. We arrived by local bus and were amazed when the bus stopped more or less on the door step. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Good selection of food for breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. - We enjoyed everything about the hotel.   The B&B style house meant that we could use their full kitchen (with every utensil & servingware & appliance that our home has) to prepare a bbq dinner and breakfast the next morning. There are bikes & scooters to borrow, so we went on a family ride to the nearby lake. The taverna/lounge downstairs has music, a guitar, comfy chairs... vad folk säger » , etc. for peaceful relaxing. The creek with tiny waterfall in the backyard was lovely and fun for our kids to watch. They had games to play with - fo - The Millhouse is a beautifully renovated 300 year old flour mill. It's in an excellent location in a tiny village close to Bled. Paul and Dorthe are exceptional hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking the lovely peaceful garden, which has a small waterfall and river running through it.   The landlady is very kind and helpful (the critics are not true according to which she doesn't speak English; she speaks basic English which is totally enough to understand each other). The cottage was fully clean, there were no mould at all. The kitchen is well-equipped.   This is a really relaxing place to stay, and I think it provides a good feel for tradiitional Slovenian hospitality vs a larger hotel in Bled itself. Better value too. It's homely, and breakfast is simple but delicious. The location is great - close to Bled, and just behind the village of Ribno is a beautiful river with cycling/hiking trails.   Hostess (Nina) was friendly and helpful. She gave us a map and pointed out local restaurants and attractions, especially Vintnar Gorge, which we had not heard about but really enjoyed. Quiet residential area. Breakfast was very good: fried eggs, fruit, juice, cereal, bread. Free parking on-site, 5 meters from entrance. The owners and staff are very nice people. They gave us a lot of hints what to see around. The hotel is perfectly clean, breakfast is simple, but good and contains a lot of fruit. Location is wonderful - just five minutes from the lake. Bus stop is only five minutes from there, main bus station is the same distance as the lake. I would recommend it to everyone.

Highly recommended accommodation in a region of Slovenia that makes you feel like you're living in a fairy tale.

It is not exactly close to the Bled lake, so if you don't have a car beware, for us it was rather a plus as it was very quiet on the farm. The breakfast was fantastic.   the apartment was just fine. we had the studio apartment. it was extremely clean and very well equipped. its location is excellent for those wanting to visit bled and its surroundings. besides the owners are extremely nice and helpful. also the price paid was really value for money. - Very new, clean and big room!
