Hotel check-in staff were very helpful, spoke good English and were friendly. The hotel was re-opened earlier this summer after major renovations. Our room was very nice: good size, good comfortable bed, good linen, well-appointed; good bathroom and amenities.
Worth paying the extra for views over the lake – we could see castle and had views

Location was good, just a 2 min walk to the lake. No views of it from the room (top floor, room 308) but nice scenery though. The hotel and its rooms have been recently renovated (past 1-2 years). They were nice and had a balcony.
The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a a little small but not an issue at all.
Free parking in the hotel at the back (under cover) or front. There were plenty of spaces available when we went.
Wifi was excellent (11Mbs download) and the upload speed was 14M

Fantastic trip!! I Loved my stay at pension union, highlighted by brothers who run it. The room was spotless and large and the breakfast was fantastic!
Me & my girlfriend stayed here for two days as we explored bled and went on a tour of the emelald river and had a great time. Perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the lake.

Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. A family run hotel with two brothers being front-of-house, and their father playing the piano in the restaurant when we were there.
Room was very spacious and clean.
Parking at the hotel was nearby and free.
Restaurant served good food.
An ideal stop-over place for us - we will be returning in future.

Upon arrival, we had been upgraded to the top floor appartment with wooden ceiling. Everything was nice in this villa, the staff was very kind, our appartment spacious, clean, nicely furnished and had everything in it. The small terrace was cute, and view on the mountains was beautiful. We loved every second. Breakfast was small but fresh, and I have had the best coffee here!

The Millhouse is a beautifully renovated 300 year old flour mill. It's in an excellent location in a tiny village close to Bled. Paul and Dorthe are exceptional hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking the lovely peaceful garden, which has a small waterfall and river running through it. The landlady is very kind and helpful (the critics are not true according to which she doesn't speak English; she speaks basic English which is totally enough to understand each other). The cottage was fully clean, there were no mould at all. The kitchen is well-equipped. There is a nice terrace in front of the cottage. -

This is a really relaxing place to stay, and I think it provides a good feel for tradiitional Slovenian hospitality vs a larger hotel in Bled itself. Better value too. We liked everything! The owners and staff are very nice people. They gave us a lot of hints what to see around.
The hotel is perfectly clean, breakfast is simple, but good and contains a lot of fruit.
Location is wonderful - just five minutes from the lake. Bus stop is only five minutes from there, main bus station is the same distance as the lake.
I would recommend it to everyone.

The hosts Ivo & Vesna went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Even doing our washing for the five of us. Their Slovenian hospitality is amazing. The house is impeccably clean with everything you could hope to find in an accommodation. Highly recommended accommodation in a region of Slovenia that makes you feel like you're living in a fairy tale.

It is not exactly close to the Bled lake, so if you don't have a car beware, for us it was rather a plus as it was very quiet on the farm. The breakfast was fantastic. We stayed in three hotels during our stay in Bled and this one was the best and the cheapest. -

the apartment was just fine. we had the studio apartment. it was extremely clean and very well equipped. its location is excellent for those wanting to visit bled and its surroundings. besides the owners are extremely nice and helpful. also the price paid was really value for money. -
