  stylish studio apartment. beautiful views. swimming pool. very relaxing. air con worked well and was quiet. owner was very helpful and friendly (thanks for the schnapps on the last night). bar just down the hill. many, many vineyards in the area and some lovely small villages to explore. - Zoi apartments are wonderful. Peace and quiet with... wat mensen zeggen » views of surrounding vineyards. The swimming pool has a lovely viewpoint of the surrounding countryside. The owners are friendly, and welcoming and very helpful, recommending restaurants and activities in the area. We hope to return soon.

They could not do enough for us...and always with a smile and sincere energy. Could have spent hours just looking out our window at the countryside. Great location for exploring the wine... wat mensen zeggen » country AND spending a day in Italy. Did not plan to eat at the hotel, but had 2 terific dinners. When we left after 3 nights, we felt like we were saying goodbye to friends. - The hotel is run by two lovely and charming couple that are always trying to help and guide. The location is one of the best on the border of Slovenia and Italy with the best view ever! We enjoined the hospitality and appreciate the place very much.

  We really enjoyed our stay at House Iaquin. The setting is stunning, nestled in the little village of Vipolze, surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees. Nearby (not quite walkable) you will find the towns of Medana and Dobrovo, which both offer great opportunities for wine tasting and eating lovely food. Indeed Uros, the owner of Iaquin, makes wine... wat mensen zeggen » himself, which we sampled a couple of glasses of - and decided was delicious enough to buy a bottle to take home. The house itself is very modern wit - This was a beautiful hotel, set amongst the vineyards in Slovenia, close to the Italian border. It was stylish and modern and the owner was fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful and included local specialities. Home produced wine was also available to buy. We loved this hotel and intend to return!
