  Loved this house, stayed in small upstairs apartment, parking in front, great breakfast delivered by host upon request (felt so spoiled). Service was more than excellent. Can't wait to visit Bled again so I can stay here again. Everything was within easy walk, so much to do. Vila Mia was perfect choice. - Very conducive for relaxation.   Fantastic trip!! I Loved my stay at pension union, highlighted by brothers who run it. The room was spotless and large and the breakfast was fantastic! Me & my girlfriend stayed here for two days as we explored bled and went on a tour of the emelald river and had a great time. Perfect location with a 5 minute walk to the lake. A family run hotel with two brothers being front-of-house, and their father playing the piano in the restaurant when we were there. Room was very spacious and clean. Parking at the hotel was nearby and free. Restaurant served good food. An ideal stop-over place for us - we will be returning in future.

  The B&B style house meant that we could use their full kitchen (with every utensil & servingware & appliance that our home has) to prepare a bbq dinner and breakfast the next morning. There are bikes & scooters to borrow, so we went on a family ride to the nearby lake. The taverna/lounge downstairs has music, a guitar, comfy chairs... vad folk säger » , etc. for peaceful relaxing. The creek with tiny waterfall in the backyard was lovely and fun for our kids to watch. They had games to play with - fo - The Millhouse is a beautifully renovated 300 year old flour mill. It's in an excellent location in a tiny village close to Bled. Paul and Dorthe are exceptional hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking the lovely peaceful garden, which has a small waterfall and river running through it.   The landlady is very kind and helpful (the critics are not true according to which she doesn't speak English; she speaks basic English which is totally enough to understand each other). The cottage was fully clean, there were no mould at all. The kitchen is well-equipped.   This is a really relaxing place to stay, and I think it provides a good feel for tradiitional Slovenian hospitality vs a larger hotel in Bled itself. Better value too. It's homely, and breakfast is simple but delicious. The location is great - close to Bled, and just behind the village of Ribno is a beautiful river with cycling/hiking trails.   Hostess (Nina) was friendly and helpful. She gave us a map and pointed out local restaurants and attractions, especially Vintnar Gorge, which we had not heard about but really enjoyed. Quiet residential area. Breakfast was very good: fried eggs, fruit, juice, cereal, bread. Free parking on-site, 5 meters from entrance. The owners and staff are very nice people. They gave us a lot of hints what to see around. The hotel is perfectly clean, breakfast is simple, but good and contains a lot of fruit. Location is wonderful - just five minutes from the lake. Bus stop is only five minutes from there, main bus station is the same distance as the lake. I would recommend it to everyone.

  we loved everything! Bled was a last min add on to our trip, so we only had one day there, how we wish we had more time! It could be a bit challenging to find the place, but that happened to almost every hotel and B&B we stayed in the trip across Slovenia, Italy and Croatia, so we were kind of used to it.   The apartment was just perfect...one of those that you would easily want to live in on a permanent basis.
