  We stayed at Dar Qamar to break up a return trip to Marrakech from Merzouga, and we wish we had more time to spend here. The hotel is appears to be down some back street, but what a place it is. Behind the walls is a beautiful pool area and gardens with peacocks. The lounge area was comfortable and there was even some Wifi if you need it. Like many French-run hotels in Morocco you can get wine. - The place is really amazing and beautiful while at first the surroundings and the last 1.5 km might not find your approval (see earlier comments) but this wasn't an issue for us and our stay was very peaceful. A beautiful well maintained garden is surrounding a nice pool area, the amazing patio is inviting to relax, to read, to have a drink.. During our stay the owners (French couple) were absent but the place was well run, good a friendly staff.

  This was really a lovely and very special stay. The location of the Kasbah du Peintre is nestled in a small village exactly as described, 6km on from Ait Benhaddou. We were so glad we stayed here.   The garden of the Dar Maktoub is fantastic ! A serene oasis of green, beautiful plantings, wide variety of Palms, flowers, cactus and ferns. Very elegant and large pool space with lots of space to be private in. Main house lodge is well equipped, lovely architecture, very much enjoyed the lounge and fire place. A great base for Agadir. Top that out with very professional staff and good breakfasts. - The hotel has a beautiful, very large swimming pool en neat relaxing furniture around it on which you can relax all day. Beds are huge and comfortable and rooms are spacious enough. We spent three days at the pool (after a week travelling around Marocco) and had no reason to leave the place. Loved it.

  Had a really comfortable and awesome stay in Studiotel Afoud. This possibly the best place you can stay in Agadir on a budget.
