  This was our favourite stop on our trip, we stayed for two nights but would have happily stayed longer. Bagdad cafe is set against the gorgeous backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage site: Ait Ben Haddou. It is a boutique hotel with only six rooms and a swimming pool run by a fabulous and welcoming family. Our room was very comfortable with a king ... vad folk säger » size bed and decent bathroom. Breakfast was served in the typical Moroccan style and food was also available for lunch and dinner. As it was our anni - We loved this hotel/hostel and it was a perfect place to stay for the one night we were there in order to see Ait Ben Haddou in the morning. Rose and her husband (and lovely kids - take them Haribo sweets as they can't get them in the area) couldn't have been more welcoming and we had one of the best meals in their restaurant of our entire 3 week trip around Morocco!!   I could write in detail about how beautiful and amazing this place is ... I could go on for hours as it is that fantastic .... so instead I will just say - book it! Don't waste your time researching anywhere else because this is the best there is. Unfortunately, Caroline, the proprietor, was away, but her staff, Abdullah, Hadif ( the chef) and the others, were unbelievable! They were friendly and helpful, without being hovering.   We stopped in Taroudant en route to Essaoiura from the desert. As it happened, it was our one cloudy day in two weeks but despite the dank weather we ventured into the Medina city. It's only small, unlike sprawling Marrakech and provides a better reflection of ordinary Moroccan life. The receptionist was very welcoming and - A wonderful Riad with most beautifully and individually decorated and very clean rooms. Based on the very good description and fotos sent by the Riad after booking, it was very easy to find the Riad. All the staff, especially Ben, are very friendly and kind, so we enjoyed our stay very much. Our kids loved the wonderful little pool (which they could use even late at night). We would recommend this Riad to everybody.

  Spent 2 nights in this nice hotel near the northern part of the wall (near Bab Bouzamarne gate). Ali and his staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful (he even let us ride with them to Inezgane to catch a bus). Excellent wifi available in the room, a good heater/ac unit and satellite TV (although so many channels to wade through that we soon gave... vad folk säger » up). The beds are very comfortable. He has several bicycles that can be used for free and the included breakfast was terrific (and huge). We had the - We stayed at Riad for three days and were happy with our choice. Staff and owner Ali were extreemely helpful- he even took us in his car around Taroudannt- Atlas mountains, Souss Massa National Park, Tioute. Without his help we wouldn't have seen so much. We regret not to have ordered to be picked up from the airport. Breakfast was delicious and tagine superb.

  Chez Talout is the best place we staid during our trip in Marocco! The auberge is located in a surrounding that is a bit desolated, but sooo beautiful! And there are lots of places to visit using Chez Talout as a base. We stayed at Chez Talout for 5 days and I would have loved to stay longer!   This has got to have been one of the nicest Hotels/Riads I have ever stayed in. At every turn there is some beautiful to look at. A real gem of a place. We were only staying one night sadly and our friends and ourselves booked the two 'tower' rooms with patios which were lovely. The food was great and the breakfast too. Lovely staff and 'guardian... vad folk säger » ' car parking. Don't be put off when you first drive out to the edge of the palm grove - its worth the drive when you walk inside. - Beautiful riad. We were offered the choice of room given the low bookings that night and chose the top floor room. Beautiful! We arrived late at night and after we warned them, they kindly still served us food, by the pool, with candles, that was wonderful. Then we had to leave very early in the morning and they still prepared a breakfast feast, as if it had been the regular hour. I would highly highly recommend...
