  The Ibis is situated on the outskirts of town a very short taxi drive away from the old Medina (haggle the price before getting in, we paid just 2dh about 2 euros each way for 2 people in a petite taxi and 5dh for 4 in a grand taxi each way). Although it is right by the modern train station there is little noise from the trains. We bought a map o... vad folk säger » f Fez from the news agents in the station but trust me when I say trying to follow it was near on impossible. We were touring in our own car and were - We spent three nights there and took two day trips from Fes (Meknes, 1 hour and Taza 2 hours). The hotel's proximity to the train station made it an ideal location for us, though it is still only a short petit taxi ride (10mins) to the Medina (9.50 Dirhams on the meter, though be careful because most taxis outside are picking up people from the train station and ripping them off. One taxi quoted us 40 Dirhams) There is a nice outdoor pool on the ground floor. Buffet breakfast was nice.

  Just off the main street which makes it an ideal location. The actual road the hotel is based leaves a lot to be desired but it's a very short walk to lots of cafes and eateries. The room was very clean and comfortable.   Very good selection for breakfast. Perfectly comfortable. Could have been staying in any western hotel. No Moroccan feel at all. Would not stay here if you wanted to experience morocco - It is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.   Lovely grounds, almost next door to conference site. Pretty outdoor seating by the pool or in garden with drinks and live, mellow music. It was family friendly as well as business friendly.

  Friendly staff, good breakfast, good location in the new city, reachable by taxi. The rooms can be very big (Sahara) or quite tiny( Souss), depending on what you pay but they are all designed in a Moroccan style, combined with modern facilities. It can be a little cold at night even if they offer heaters and A/C. Even if the breakfast is scheduled... vad folk säger » to start at 8.30, they are flexible and can prepare everything one hour earlier. - Friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms were very clean & nicely decorated. Very good value for money. The breakfast was brilliant, as was the terrace were you could relax and eat breakfast or enjoy mint tea. I really can't say enough nice things about this hotel. I would recommend it to everyone.
