Jean Gabriel, the owner, was so outgoing, friendly and accommodating. He was very helpful when my boyfriend had a fever. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful and dinners are top- quality. Essaouira was our favorite city, although a bit more touristy than other Moroccan cities, the beach has great watersports and lots of activities and great restaurants.   I loved this place. The staff were genuine and friendly, and the riad is absolutely gorgeous. We booked the Warda room, which means rose in Arabic, and there were roses and rose petals everywhere inside, which was a nice touch. We couldn't not make use of the huge bathtub and took a relaxing hot bath late at night that put us right to sleep. The riad was beautiful, modern and clean but had a traditional feel to it. We would stay again if we have the opportunity.   Our 7 days stay in The Chems Bleu was amazing. Room ,we had Dunette Double Room, was clean (they cleaned it every day + towels changing) and with beautiful view to the ocean. Everything was fine and it worked. Breakfast were very tasty and we enjoyed it every day! Riad´s personnel was very kind, friendly and helpf - This place is a little gem, right in the heart of the medina in an ideal location. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in the room right on the top floor with the roof terrace. It is the smallest room in the riad but still plenty of space. The bathroom is small but adequate with a fantastic powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Our room was immaculate and cleaned every day, with fresh towels which were quite large for a hotel room.   Dar Liouba was excellent in every way. The room was warm and comfortable and the location was perfect. The highlight was the time spent at the dining table. The breakfasts were delicious( great coffee) and we elected to have our evening meal there. It was so great that we had dinner there the next night too! Weather permitting this is a perfect place - A beautiful Riad located in the heart of the Medina, with very warm welcoming staff who pay great attention to detail and convenience of guests, makes this an ideal place to explore the lovely city. All the staff- particularly Fatima and Yussef are a real asset to this hotel. Their help made our stay very enjoyable with useful advice and suggestions throughout.
