  The location is beautiful. Also in mid feb it is nice. The complex was not fully booked. It can happen that you are alone in the complex. For us it didn’t matter but I can imagine that some people like not to be alone in a ‘remote’ area. The rooms were big and nicely decorated.   Loved this hotel. Radda in Chianti is now one of our favorite locations in Italy and this hotel was luxurious. Staff great. Breakfasts great.   This is an amazing place. Everything was perfect-tidy, clean and stylish hotel. Very nice englishspeaking receptionist-she gaves us many helpfull advices for the old Lucca town and ideas for good restaurants there. We rented bikes to enjoy old part of Lucca and it - Beautifully restored Villa, high quality fittings,traditional Italian style,spotlessly clean room, lots of good quality choices in breakfast buffet. Friendly and efficient staff could not do enough to help us, excellent English and French is spoken. Nothing was too much trouble - thank you for an excellent stay in beautiful Lucca. Lovely relaxing area with hot tub etc. too.

  wonderful rooms and the hotel was in a beautiful setting overlooking the gorgeous Tuscan hillsides and mountains. Artimino had a few restaurants and the food was excellent in all of them.   Tourist House Ghiberti was very close to the Duomo and within easy walking distance of the railway station and all the attractions we came to see. Claudio was an excellent host. Buffet breakfast was simple and very nice. Room was clean and facilities were more than we required (internet etc). We will be recommending to our friends. - The size of both the bedroom and bathroom and the charm of this historic building. It's proximity to the Duomo gave us an excellent central point from which to do all our touring on foot. Breakfast selection was varied and good. Claudio was very helpful in answering all our questions. Having free interent access was great for additional research while in Italy and checking in with family.

  When we came in the evening, we thought that we are in the middle of nowhere. But when we wake up in the morning we fall in love in this place.The house was beautiful, accommodation comfort and clean, garden with trees and flowers, beautiful pool and very very calm. The location is perfect with nice views and right in between Volterra & San Gimignano. Free wifi. One laundry for free and one spa treatment for free!
