  We loved everything: the quietness and serenity (including the tiny family chapel ) the comfortable bedrooms and nice furnishings, the beauty of the surrounding farms, well equipped kitchen. The staff were very helpful and even gave us apples newly picked.Their brochure explained everything about the area: nearest little shop ( lovely 15 min walk ... vad folk säger » down the country lane), about Cortona (one of the loveliest towns of our whole trip), recommendations for restaurants etc. A must stay for our next t - Beautiful place, very charming.   Wonderful hotel on top of the mountain overlooking the Tuscan countryside of Cortona.rooms were smallish but the bed and linen were great and the view is to die for. Hotel entry is at the top floor and you go down from there. Cortona township is only 50 metres from hotel with great food and shops. Concierge could not do enough for us.   The hotel is wonderful, the view is beautiful, very calm and perfect to relax with a nice spa area that is included at the price. the restaurant is very good, but expensive to eat everyday. the room is big and very comfortable bed with a good bathroom. - Staff was friendly and owners made sure to meet everyone.   We had a fantastic stay. The people could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. They even sorted out our car when it broke down, not wanting any payment for doing so. The view from our room and on the terrace was tremendous. Our room was huge but had everything you needed in it. The view from the big terrace on the area behind the hotel is great, nice place to sit and enjoy the view in the mornng. Also localization in Cortona is great. It is a good place to stay and a great point in the middle of Tuscany, so you can reach many places around with a car. Staff was also nice and helpfull and we enjoyed our stay very much.

  The care with which the place is designed, the attention to detail and comfort of guests, unobtrusive service, excellent restaurant on site, clean bathroom and daily room service. While we were there temperature soared to 40 degrees celcius so the swimming pool was a welcome relief.   Staying here was just like having our own villa. Everything was lovely, the Villa's family was kind and welcoming, and the setting was peaceful. We were invited to pick what we wanted from the garden (the tomatoes and apples were delicious). We were only sorry that it was just a one-night stay.
