  We loved everything! The name bellavista is well deserved, the views are amazing in all directions. Great location to explore Tuscany and Umbria. There are bikes for you to use, but a car is necessary to travel around the area. The rooms are well-sized, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished.   Lovely, perfectly authentic restored typical Tuscan landhouse, in the middle of beautiful surroundings of Cortona and sunflower fields. Romantic bedrooms, fresh, beautifully decorated. We had thought we would take day trips by train initially, but thay was not realistic. Anyway, the converted farmhouse was charming, the breakfasts were good, the pool was as it was described and the owners and staff were extremely nice and accommodating. We would recommend it to others.

  Amazing hotel in amazing city. The room Camino was big, with old fireplace and even with light smell of cinder, very nice and comfortable.Good equipped bathroom. Also it's so good to have exellent restaurant at the same place you live. Convinient location. The rooms are very spacious clean and well presented. The breakfast was perfect, homemade cakes as well. I would definately recommend staying at Dolce Maria, Also a thank you to Paola's mother.

  David Papi was an extraordinary host. He was always exquisitely friendly and helpful when figuring out day trips around the area. The restaurant was the biggest surprise.   Actually everything on the Hotel was a positive experience. Location is good, quite in the nature on the top of a small village where you can enjoy good view and relax your soul. Rooms and facilities are romantic and give a nice feeling of privacy inside the Villa Area. Staff is very friendly and helps out with good hints about seighseeing trips in and around Toscany area. Breakfast has good - Beautiful setting and an excellent, friendly staff, who did not let a power failure (due to a storm) knock them off stride, instead serving a wonderful dinner by candlelight before the power came back.

  A very nice, comfortable hotel in a tipical Tuscany 18th century villa. Rooms are very nice and quiet. The pool and the gardens with the idilic Tuscany views are fantastic.
