  Hotel was in an excellent location, really central but not noisy. We had a room with a terrace which overlooked the pool. It was really nice; it was a bit cool to use the pool but if you did it would be nice to retreat to your private terrace; might be noisy in the room though if the pool was busy; a minor concern though.The room also contained a ... vad folk säger » porch and settee area. There was a nice range of breakfast fare. - The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and nicely landscaped...we used the pool and it was fantastic, a nice place to get away from the crowds. (and trust me, there are massive crowds during the day when the cruise ships come to town....) Our room (212) was huge with a nice balcony overlooking the gardens. The hotel was in a good location, just a quick walk from the main piazza. Breakfast was good, lots of choices.

  The hotel was beautiful in a great location. with stunning views and a lovely balcony. The staff were all very friendly except the restaurant manager who was very hard to understand and decided what we should eat with no regards to personel tastes ie vegetarian, all he offered was a veal cutlet in breadcrumbs for our romantic meal.   We were met at the reception by 'Gina' who was courteous and pleasant. We were offered a glass of proseco in the garden, taking in the view of Capri, while we waited for our room.   This was our fourth stay at this hotel. Our previous 3 stays occured during the years that the hotel was a JW Marriott. The hotel has been completed refurbished and it is beautiful. The new feeling is one of a boutique hotel with an intimate feeling. The entire staff went out of its way to meet our every need.   I'he met the manager he was very friendly and a very nice person. The staff are excellent. They gave me the feeling as in home. The history of the villa is very interesting. There is a piano in the lobby which belongs to the original owner - a known musician who used to host his artistic friends. Very freindly staff , clean and spacious room and a really good breakfast selection . Great views from the balcony and some very good food options near by . It was organised , freindly and a good value for money stay on an Island that can be expansive.

Feels like home in the very best sense of that: great atmosphere, comfortable and cosy room, beautiful garden with many trees, plants and herbs, lots of pets around (at home there are 2 dogs, a cat, several rabbits, a turtle, fishes...).
