nice room with a little fridge, stove, microwave etc. They gave two bottle of water and two bottles of beer a day for free which is very rare in Europe. This was the best placed we stayed during our entire trip accross europe. - Great room, very nice hotel, very nice hotel staff

We just returned from a stay at the Mariahilf Hotel. The hotel is completely charming, family run and totally gracious. The rooms were spacious, clean and charmingly decorated with vintage pieces. A very very nice hotel only 30 min walking distance from the old city. The district Mariahilf is a very quite and cozy place of Munich. Surrounded by parks and quite small streets. The hotel itself is in 5 stored building built after the Second Warld War. Interior is old fashion stylized. Wooden furniture, carpets, nice old fashioned curtains, beds are with wooden or metal frames. Very cozy. The owners are extremely responsive and try to help with advises. It was an excellent location just off the main shopping street in Munich. We were two underground stops from the main railway station and in walking distance of many of the attractions. The staff were friendly and the rooms were large, with a separate kitchen and bathroom. We slept three people comfortably. Self laundry facilities were available. The reception and other staff were very friendly and helpful.
