  We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. The windows are easy to open and had blackout curtains. The staff was incredibly gracious and helpful and the additional breakfast was well worth the price and had lots of va... vad folk säger » riety and nice touches (organic eggs from "happy chickens"). The location is great and lets you pop back to your room for a break during sightseeing. - Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

  Convenient location near train station, an easy walk even with bags. But we had a car and there was also covered parking for €10 (reservation needed as they have only a few spots). Internet required login to a lan but was surprisingly good! Very friendly staff! The location was also ideal, literally 2 blocks from the train station and Dom. The apartment was great and the WiFi was fast. Definitely planning to stay here again on future trips to Cologne.

Hotel staff and particularly Mr. Frieben (Owner) were amazing in terms of giving very personal service. I found it like sitting in my home, excellent in terms of everything. I would definitely stay again as a loyal guest!

It is perfect for traveling with children as it has multiple, separate bedrooms. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the apartment didn't have any features that were not kid friendly like sharp cornered tables, lots of trinkets etc..   The hotel was in a great location, clean anf very affordable. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They definitely added to our enjoyable stay in Cologne. If you are use to "american" size rooms, you will find these abit small but totally equipped and functional. Great breakfast buffet. - The staff were friendly and helpful.
