  The staff was very helpful and friendly and even washed my hoodie, returning it to me within a few hours without charge. (The weather was unseasonably cold during our visit). We could see Cologne cathedral through the window and hear church bells in the morning. It was very close to the walkway along the Rhine and an easy distance to the station and the Cathedral.   The hotel is very clean and located right next to the central train station. The staff is very friendly. The room is quite big. Reasonable price. I would stay there again. - There was a lot of variety in the breakfast every morning and the room was clean, if a little on the small side by American standards. I would stay here again.

  Läget var mycket bra. Hotellet hade mycket trevliga rum, med helt underbara sängar. Trevlig relaxavdelning med bastu och pool. Fin frukost - Personalen vänlig och speciellt med tanke på vår son, 10 mån. Vi fick ett rum som låg tyst med tanke på karnevalen i Köln och de försökte fixa så vi skulle få vårt rum mkt tidigare så han kunde få sova middag.

  Small, but lovely room. Staff nice and truly friendly. A really nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Excellent value for money. - I loved the buffet breakfast. The staff were very kind and friendly. They recommended a park to go running and the hotel is a short distance from a great running route.

  We were staying in xl Art room overlooking the River Rhine. It was well worth the money, as we booked well in advance. Tram stop very close, easy to reach Koelnmesse, shopping area/centre only 15 min. On foot. Room size was great, and clean. Added bonus: coffee maker (tablet). Fare is approx 24-26 Euros to Cologne airport. - Most of the staff were very friendly&helpful. The room was superb, very spacious& the decor was very funky&modern, bed was lovely&comfortable.the location is great only a 5 min walk to the old town along the river with some great places to eat&enjoy a few drinks. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

  This was a very nice hotel with a spacious room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet despite being located on a relatively busy street near the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.   Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Surprisingly calm environment. Close to central shopping places, just a walk off Shildergasse. And - Oh my God - there was even a model-train shop on the other side of the street! :-) - An extremely nice double room on the first floor (even with a kitchenette).
