  We were well treated and the owner, Regis Audouin, went out of his way to assist us with the hotel, parking, and other accommodations. Very kind and helpful. - Friendly service, nice rooms and superb location.

  Lovely staff; they were ALL very helpful & welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms were very modern, immaculately clean and serviced every day. Bed was ENORMOUS and very comfortable. Climate control in room was welcome as weather was very hot. Good access to the town and easy to park the car near the hotel - The room was spotless. Great King bed, new shower room, decent sized tv. Double glazing was excellent with little to no noise even though the hotel is opposite the train station. Cost of room via letsbookhotel.com was excellent. Included a basic breakfast. Good location with only a short walk over two bridges to the town center. Great location to explore the Loire Valley.

  good kitchen facilities, own patio area neatly planted so you were not looking at a blank wall. Facilities a bit limited if a family but all we needed. Need to have a car to get out and about.   We are a family of 4 and booked the quad room. It was fantastic, a separate room for the children with their own tv!! Large clean bathroom with shower and large balcony with an amazing view across the town to the castle in Saumur. We only had a stop over on our way South but still managed to spend most of our time in the pool!!   I was lucky enough to have a room with a view over the beautiful river Loire, with the bridge illuminated at night and the general beauty of Saumur on display. We booked at the last minute, so we didn't have much of a choice of rooms so, unfortunately, my friend got a room at the back of the hotel - which, although very comfortable, had a far les... vad folk säger » s inspiring view (I would like to say, in my defence, that she lives in France and volunteered to take the short straw, being more able to visit Saumu - As mentioned in a previous review, we wondered about the stairs problem but don't know what the fuss is about - we are both in our mid-60's and didn't find the stairs at all difficult. Anyway, the very helpful manager insisted with helping with luggage. There is plenty of public parking at very little cost immediately outside the hotel and the location is ideal for exploring the centre of Saumur on foot.   Recently refurbished. Room was smart with excellent en-suite. Restaurant food was very good and good value too. Breakfast excellent at only €7.5 Staff friendly. - The hotel is within easy walking distance of the station. The staff were wonderful. The room was clean and well organised.
