  Charming decor, lovely building with gorgeous woodwork, pleasant courtyard, friendly staff, excellent location for enjoying the small town of St, Jean de Luz and for day trips into the countryside. The beach is beautiful but it was not beach weather when we stayed. Nothing too much trouble for them - from a drop of fresh milk to detailed directions for wherever we wanted to go. The restaurant & bar suggestions espcially good. Lovely hotel, clean & well located.   Although it is on a busy roundabout the rooms are very quiet due to soundproofing and quiet air conditioning. Our room 401 had a balcony which we used as the views to the mountains and harbour were good. The beach, shops and restaurants were just around the corner and the market on Tuesday morning well worth a visit.
