  It's amazing how the staff cares about you. The men that was on duty when I checked-in gave me much more information about what to do than the "office de Tourisme" (which main role should be this). I got there before check in time but could take the room straight away. Breakfast buffet varied and fair price. The day I was leaving, the staff on dut... vad folk säger » y told me to be carefull because the police (over ten officials) was running after a group of people so I went to the station (just across the street) - Robert at the reception desk is extremely helpful. He gave suggestions for dinner, which was wonderful. He also gave us a simple photocopied map of Metz and drew a walking trail highlighting must see spots. He also directed us to the correct bus to visit our son at his study abroad campus. This was very important as we speak no French and there were few in the town that could converse in English.   It was very handy to the station, a 10 minute walk to the city centre and handy to restaurants. We couldn't hear outside noise even though we were at the front on a very busy street. Parking was great. - Staff is very nice, space are value for money.

  Though we were late, we received a friendly welcome. Location easy to find: follow signs to 'Centre'. Spacious parking on village square. Quiet room, nice balcony overlooking square. Would stay here again. - The room was very clean and quiet. The room itself was also quite spacious (not the bathroom).

  As the hotel is located in the comercial area there are a lot of cafe close to the hotel. I cannot say that the room is very cosy and clean. But it's wholly satisfactory. - This hotel is very near the highway going into Paris. It is very quiet and in a secure industrial location. There is a large shopping mall within a few blocks.
