  The hospitality of the staff was excellent - very user friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast offered at the hotel was very tasty and there was a good variety of items.   We were on a motorbike tour and we stayed for a 1night stopover hotel before travelling on to Vosges Mountains. Having read poor feedback about the nearby Campanile and other hotels already full it meant we had to pay a bit more for a room than we would normally. However we were pleasantly surprised, the hotel is of a good standard, clean and room... vad folk säger » s well equipped and comfortable. The restaurant is expensive however it was good food and busy with non residents. We only had an evening meal decidin - Room lovely, if a little small. Everything worked as it should. The staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful. We missed breakfast one morning and the restaurant manager took the trouble to get coffee and croissants for us, despite him being very busy preparing for a wedding. The hotel is in a great position for visiting the area, or for passing through. Metz centre is 10 minutes by car.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Thalassa. For a family of four, the villa was more than accommodating. We had the whole upper floor of a big villa to include 2 bedrooms, a full size kitchen, bathroom and a T.V. room. The decor was charming and the villa very cozy. Robert was also very friendly and informative. The breakfast was also plentiful. We have two young kids and asked for two extra beds but because there was an available room next to ours we were allowed to use it at very little extra charge.   The owners greeted us personally and were both very friendly. We loved the coffee machine with extra coffee pods that were left for us to use!   Very spacious home (apartment doesn't qualify it I think). Nice kitchen, bathroom and big TV. Everything you would also like at home. It's in a quiet street at the edge of the city. Close (car) distance to the center. Nice owner, welcome reception with sweets and nespresso coffee. Quite informal atmosphere.

  We looked for a place to stay on our way from Switzerland to the Netherlands. We wanted a (little) hotel with a good restaurant, and not too far out from the freeway. We certainly found a fantastic little place at La Table Alsacienne!! The rooms have been recently modernized. They were spacious, and had great beds and a nice shower. The restaurant... vad folk säger » was superb. Locals were having dinner there so we knew it would be good and it was! The service was also excellent. Breakfast was plenty, everything - The rooms are very well appointed. The proximity to the motorway. The food in the restaurant was very good. The owner was very helpful and friendly.
