The 3 star hotel was good value for money with breakfast included and offered what was necessary for a comfortable stay in the room or hotel lounge (complimentary tea, water etc). Location, Location, Location! We were driving from UK to the Grand Prix in Monza. Excellent small family hotel in typical french style. Great owners , very helpful and excellent home cooked french food. Rooms basic but nice and clean. A real oasis of calm after a long drive. -

Central position - The location was fantastic,the restaurant attached to the hotel was superb and overall our stay was very pleasant. Metz was very nice and we intend to re visit in the summer.

We were on a motorbike tour and we stayed for a 1night stopover hotel before travelling on to Vosges Mountains. Having read poor feedback about the nearby Campanile and other hotels already full it meant we had to pay a bit more for a room than we would normally. Room lovely, if a little small. Everything worked as it should. The staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful. We missed breakfast one morning and the restaurant manager took the trouble to get coffee and croissants for us, despite him being very busy preparing for a wedding. The hotel is in a great position for visiting the area, or for passing through. Metz centre is 10 minutes by car.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel which is at the upper end of a 2*rating, but- - - - - - - breakfast was extra which moved the price to my 3* expectations.However,the hotel is in a very good location for the Christmas market and there is a free car park only 75 mtrs away. Overall it was a good weekend break. -
