To top it off, we are vegan (a very hard diet to follow in the small towns of France) and the owner went out of his way to find recipes and make us a delicious dinner including a beautiful chocolate cake.   Oh my goodness! If only we had known how wonderful this place was going to be and how amazing our hosts would be...we would have left our touring bicycles in their shed for so much longer :) From the moment we arrived - 101kms of bike riding behind us - our hosts were so thoughtful. We had a choice between the two spacious and gorgeous bedrooms so... vad folk säger » we chose the one with the large shower bathroom (rather than the one with the stunning bath-tub) so that we scrub the sun-screen and dust off). Then, - Cambellii is more than a B&B; it is the heart & soul of French hospitality and style. From the moment you enter you feel the warmth from Elizabeth & her husband. Their home is beautiful and the garden magnificent, a perfect place to sit and relax after a long drive. Elizabeth kindly recommended restaurants in the area and we chose the pizzeria Don Camillo for our evening meal (excellent).   I have loved everything....it is a magnificient place, with a lot of magic energy.... Every corner have some special decoration detail. It's surround by nature.   Pretty much everything. The location was wonderful, rolling vineyards as far as the eye can see. We ate family meals out on the terrace above the vineyards in the evening - perfect quiet spot with the scent from the tilleuls in the yard. Delicious breakfasts and friendly staff (thank you, Valerie and the girls) and plenty of freedom to use the ... vad folk säger » kitchen and its facilities. We had the bedroom up under the roof - a wonderful arrangement of quirky beams and low windows as shown on the website. - Great place that photos don't do justice to. Was really pleasantly surprised to arrive down a lovely tree lined drive and be warmly welcomed to the building which has been beautifully restored. Great facilities, and great to be able to buy local wines and drink on the Terrace overlooking stunning views of vineyards. Lovely room, and all spotlessly clean. Only disappointment was the weather was not good enough to use pool or hot tub. Definitely recommend and hope to return.

  Quirky, comfortable accommodation and extremely friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had a lovely, tasty meal with them and they really went out of their way to get something for our fussy 8 year old to eat.   Very well looked after from the moment we arrived. Could not have been more helpful with finding a place for our tandem. First class room with excellent bathroom - Everything according to tha answers above. We will add, the qualitiy of the cooking, the direct contact with the manager, the secure parking for our bicycles.
