We were thrilled with our stay at Chateau La Mourne. The owners welcomed us with a warm greeting, a glass of wine and a tour of the beautiful castle. The room we had was enormous with a comfy bed and a beautiful ornate decor.
To top it off, we are vegan (a very hard diet to follow in the small towns of France) and the owner went out of his way to find recipes and make us a delicious dinner including a beautiful chocolate cake.
Again attending to our dietary needs for breakfast, we had fruit,

It's surround by nature. The pool and the jacuzzi are amazing. We stayed in the suite...so nice.

Pretty much everything. The location was wonderful, rolling vineyards as far as the eye can see. We ate family meals out on the terrace above the vineyards in the evening - perfect quiet spot with the scent from the tilleuls in the yard. Delicious breakfasts and friendly staff (thank you, Valerie and the girls) and plenty of freedom to use the

Great place that photos don't do justice to. Was really pleasantly surprised to arrive down a lovely tree lined drive and be warmly welcomed to the building which has been beautifully restored. Great facilities, and great to be able to buy local wines and drink on the Terrace overlooking stunning views of vineyards. Lovely room, and all spotlessly clean. Only disappointment was the weather was not good enough to use pool or hot tub. Definitely recommend and hope to return.

Quirky, comfortable accommodation and extremely friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had a lovely, tasty meal with them and they really went out of their way to get something for our fussy 8 year old to eat. It was a great start to our French holiday. -

Everything. The location was incredible right in the middle of the heart of Arcachon opening onto a beautiful Plaza with lovely boutiques and shops.. I thought that hotel/aparttment was very good value for money. The Apartment had every convenience you could wish for.The decor was beautiful and the place was spotlessly clean.
